We like the southwest flavor best.

I was a vegetarian for many years, but I am also lactose intolerant (even now that I am off gluten), and so I find it hard to not eat any meat. At this point I try to fill my self on nuts, seeds, beans, etc. for a few days, but sometime during the week I get too hungry and end up eating something with meat.

I understand your experience with the bunny -- I did that once ten years ago and it still makes me sad!AmazinAlisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00145567881766163189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5686064996038857641.post-51035548700436378162010-04-02T10:55:43.385-07:002010-04-02T10:55:43.385-07:00Good luck, I was raised not eating red meat or por...Good luck, I was raised not eating red meat or pork, but I'd have a hard time giving up my chicken and seafoodAnonymoushttp://(optional)noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5686064996038857641.post-90167998113289418252010-03-30T15:59:42.340-07:002010-03-30T15:59:42.340-07:00Thank you so much Gina! I wish you luck on your new journey and I'll keep my eye out for GF protein for you.Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11588224204531062251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5686064996038857641.post-11303793418358913172010-03-30T12:59:03.299-07:002010-03-30T12:59:03.299-07:00Hi GoingGF! So far, I hear that Amy's makes a GF Veggie burger but the ones I have seen in the stores all have wheat in them. A twitter friend sent me the link to a GF Bistro "Burger"

http://www.amys.com/products/search_results.php?form_glutenfree=1

I am not sure if Amy's products are carried in the UK.

I will keep you updated and post recipes as I find them :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13451185120384447990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5686064996038857641.post-3661609483721788422010-03-30T12:27:19.988-07:002010-03-30T12:27:19.988-07:00Hi - new here but really interested in your post, ...Hi - new here but really interested in your post, as I've been veggie for almost 20 years and diagnosed celiac for a little over 6 months. Have had to go back on to fish and chicken just to get by, as I find eating out, especially, impossible if you're GF and veggie. As you say, meat alternatives are all packed with gluten - many (in the UK at least) are based on wheat starch!
Wishing you luck and will follow how you get on with interest!Kirsty Meddingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13663404637855261187noreply@blogger.com
