Pinterest Dinners I want to try!

I adore Pinterest. There is so much creativity, inspiration and ideas on that glorious site. I have been in a dinner funk. I am so uninspired with food and Blaine became a crazy picky eater. I am feeling like a short order cook most nights because I have succumbed to making more than one dinner.

I started searching my boards and I found some drool worthy dishes that I cannot wait to try!

I love fish and this picture makes my mouth water. Recipe found here.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Quiche is a food I often forget about. I don't know why but I just do. This particular recipe is completely GF (no need for substitutions) and the list of ingredients is not massive. I like that.

Mmmm...mushrooms!
When I spotted this Roasted Mushroom side, I knew that I could easily make this a meal, just throw it atop some rice and call it a night. What lured me about this meal was that it was simple and vegetarian. Steve and I will totally be enjoying this soon!

Another vegetarian meal (vegan actually)  I have been finding swoon worthy is Spicy Thai Tacos.

I love bacon and sweet potatoes so why hadn't I though of this tasty combination. It looks easy too!

Better Late Than Never... Stephanie's Birthday Lunch at Nourish!

Blogger has been having issues...so, I have been wanting to post these photos but I have been unable to.

These are from Stephanie's Birthday Lunch at Nourish!
Have you guys seen her cutie baby?
He makes me want to ovulate daily! He is so adorable! My bff is the BEST MOMMY EVER!

Lunch was fabulous! I loved it, I love Stephanie and her family. I adore Nourish. I have been there a few times before. I wrote about my first time, here. This time I ate the Italian Sub.
It was so delicious. Melissa is obsessed with the dressing they use on their sweet potato fries, she even bought some to take home!

It was wonderful to celebrate Stephanie's party. I love her! I think I made that pretty clear on my Ode to her a few posts back! Happy B-Day again!

Happy Birthday to my BFF that happens to also be a cutie glutie!

Dear Stephanie,

I am so happy to call you my friend. I cant believe we have been bff's since 7th grade. We have seen each other through it all and we are always there for the good and the bad. I love you and your family! I had such a great time celebrating your birthday with you and your family on Sunday (I wish freaking blogger would let me upload the pictures!).

Since, I am having difficulties with my photo capabilities, I will post a blast through photo past...
On my 24th birthday
Bride and Maid Of Honor (You were the prettiest Bride I had ever seen!)
Times at your parents house !
Aww, have I told you that I think you really found the right guy for you? I do believe that!
Remember this weirdo from your Bachelorette party? Yeah, I would rather forget him too! What a fun night :)
I would rather remember this awesome moment! I adore our friendship! I cherish it!
The three of us at Jacob's 1st B-day party! I cant wait to go to Ben's! Gasp, you are a MOM now!

Jason's Deli

Remember that time I asked you to vote to have GF food served at Jason's Deli back in 2010? Well, enough gluties did and Jason's Deli has been serving GF bread for a long while now. I have been a slacker and have not been able to try their sandwiches...whoops way to slack off!

The other day I was out and about town with Jacob, shopping for Stephanie's birthday gift (it is tomorrow , so make sure to show her blog some love!) and I drove past Jason's. Jacob loves sandwiches and I had a feeling he was hungry so I decided we should stop in.

I am having issues with the photos I took on my camera phone ( I just signed up for mobile blogging,so I am going to try to send the photos on the blog in a few minutes to post those), sorry!

Anyway, Jacob loved the lunch he ate, he ate a non-gf grilled cheese with fruit. I ate a club sandwich on GF Bread with fruit. Jacob ate most of my fruit. I love that he loves fruit so much.

Jason's uses UDI'S bread, so that is great. However, always ask proper questions about cross contamination! The Jason's I went to was careful to prepare mine in a clean area but they don't have a designated toaster (remember my rant about "toaster sex" ) so I didn't get mine toasted.

It was a very delicious lunch and Jacob and I had a great time. It is great having the option to go out and grab a sandwich if I want. Thank you Jason's Deli!

I am so happy they added a GF MENU!

AZ GLUTEN FREE EXPO!

Last Saturday was the Gluten Free Expo! I saw many familiar faces and I met many readers! It was so wonderful.
The second I walked in, I saw Traci and her husband. I love the Expo!

A warning to those of you planning to attend next year, the Expo is crazy packed with amazing Gluties! So, come hydrated and hungry! You will leave full!

This is the only photo I managed to take inside the Expo.
This is just when the Expo opened and most of the vendors were still setting up. About 20 minutes later the room was pretty full.

I will do some vendor spotlights during the upcoming weeks, so look out for that!

I also met one of my favorite GF bloggers, from Gluten Free Frenzy, Chandice. She is so sweet and awesome!

The Expo was amazing. I cannot wait to spotlight my favorite vendors and my least favorite vendor.

Last but not least, this is the best part of the Expo...
The goodies! The amazing loot! I cannot wait till next year!
